Merry Christmas!

As we celebrate with friends and loved ones, I remember how truly blessed we are as a nation to be able to openly celebrate Christmas.

While it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays, it’s important to reflect on how important Christmas truly is.

It is so good to be reminded about the reason for the season, and to learn from the life that Christ lived and still lives. I am so thankful for His love for us.

One big thing for me this year has been recognizing how overcoming hardships is such a big part of being human. There are many people who have endured countless hardships over the past year while navigating government shutdowns, job loss, inflation, and the pandemic.

During these unpredictable times, a simple gesture or a kind word can go a long way. Thanks to each of you who have done so repeatedly in the fight for freedom!

Let us set a precedent for the rest of America by promoting generosity and fostering a united front in South Dakota this season.
