Taffy Howard for Congress

Please join me this Saturday, February 12th from 11:30am-2pm at the American Patriot’s convention! The event will be held at the National Field Archery Center (NFAA) on E. Highway 50 in Yankton. Hope to see you there!

The last week has been full of standard legislative work along with keeping up with the campaign trail. It’s an honor to continue to serve as Vice Chair of the Appropriations Committee!

I wanted to give you a look into what I do as a state representative, and what we are working to pass in South Dakota! I’m excited to bring the same fight for freedom to Washington, D.C.

With Rep. Chris Karr, Chairman of the Appropriations Committee. Grateful to work alongside him!

I recently introduced HB 1262, a strong medical freedom bill.

The language in HB 1262 states that it will “prohibit discrimination based on a person’s vaccination status or possession of an immunity passport,” and that an employer cannot fire or refuse to hire based upon an individual’s vaccination or lack thereof. It also guarantees that individuals will not be required to have a vaccine passport (digital or otherwise) to use public services and facilities.

One of the highlights of the past couple of weeks was when my family surprised me in Pierre! I am so thankful for the support of Mark and our sons, and love when we get to be together. One of my sons has been active duty the whole time I’ve been in the legislature, so I was so happy to get to show him where I work to serve the people of South Dakota!

With my husband, Mark, and our two sons. I am so thankful for their help and support during this crazy campaign season!

Also, last week I was honored to have the endorsement of State Senator Wendy Rogers from Arizona. I’m excited to see how many America-First conservatives are rallying behind me and supporting our campaign!

Sometimes it’s easy to think that South Dakota is just one state, and that no one is watching… But we have patriots cheering us on across the country.

I am so thankful for volunteers who are spreading the word about Howard for Congress, statewide! Here they’ve just returned from knocking doors. Together, we can drain the swamp!

I am always encouraged to see the momentum of our grassroots movement. I’ve loved getting to meet so many of you as I’ve traveled around the state, from small meet-and-greets to stock shows.

On Friday, February 18th, I will be at Gather @ Watertown with the Codington County Republican Party, from 11am-1pm.

If you’re in Codington County, I would love to see you there! I want to get to know each of you, and hear your concerns. As your next member of Congress, it will be my honor to represent YOUR values and concerns in Washington, D.C. Please come to one of my events if you haven’t already!

Thank you again for your support!
