Did you know G. E. Lemmon (for whom the town of Lemmon is named) once managed 865 thousand acres – the largest fenced pasture in the world?
He also bossed the single biggest round-up in history, consisting of over 1 million head! I was just in Lemmon, SD on the campaign trail, and learned a little about its history.
I love getting to spend time in our small South Dakota towns!
Our nation was founded by men and women like Lemmon who were willing to risk everything to establish the freest nation on earth.
Are we willing to do what it takes to hang onto it?
At every stop I make, I am reminded by you that South Dakota is ready for REAL Republican representation in Washington, D.C.
We need to clean house!
As I mentioned the other day, although the House passed a much-needed across-the-board sales tax reduction for South Dakota, the Senate followed by stalling it and eventually killing it. We went back to the drawing board and added an amendment in hopes of still passing it, but to no avail this session. We will not give up though! The legislature made a promise to the citizens of this state in 2016 and that promise needs to be kept!
I’ve pushed long and hard for the reduction and elimination of excessive taxes and fees because there is no reason for you to be robbed of your hard-earned money by a greedy government.
Democratic policies are destroying our country, and conservatives are seeing it in our bank accounts.
Rather than securing our nation and its economy, the Biden Administration is abusing our Constitution by opening the floodgates at our southern border.
America has an estimated 10.5 million illegal immigrants, and that number is only growing. In January 2022 alone, U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered 153,941 people at the southwest border.
The federal government plans to spend millions on education and healthcare for illegal immigrants while ignoring generational taxpayers.
Once again, the establishment wants to buy a vote.
That’s why I am asking for your support. As your next congresswoman, I understand the importance of pushing back against fiscal irresponsibility, as well as standing in favor of our freedoms.
Help me put a face to your name by joining us at the Meet & Greet in Spearfish at Sunshine Saloon on March 18th at 6pm (tomorrow!) and bring your liberty-loving friends along with you.
There is no place like home, and I am PROUD to call South Dakota mine. Let’s make it our mission to put REAL people into office.
