Campaign Update - Biden’s policies are wrecking our economy…

Taffy Howard for Congress

Do you feel like you’re being robbed by your own government?

After suffering from unconstitutional COVID-19 restrictions for months on end, we are now going through the worst inflation we have seen in 40 years.

The rising cost of living is affecting small businesses and families across the state. The price of gas and basic necessities have reached an all-time high throughout our country, and there seems to be no end in sight.

Despite Jen Psaki’s blame game against Russia, gas prices reaching a record cost is completely the Biden Administration’s fault.

As soon as Biden was sworn into office, he maintained his promise to climate change hysterics by shutting down production of the Keystone Pipeline.

But his actions cheated Americans out of jobs and our energy independence.

The Keystone Pipeline would have provided us with approximately 830,000 barrels of oil a day.

That’s 300 million barrels a year!

Furthermore, Biden placed a moratorium on the Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program. He also banned fracking on federal lands. And, he mandated reviews and reversals of over 100 deregulatory actions and policies taken under the Trump Administration that were created to lower energy costs.

Our government has set up red tape around fossil fuel regulations, making it nearly impossible for oil companies to drill.

On February 22, 2022, President Biden halted new oil and gas leases for drilling in the name of “climate change.” Two days after Biden’s decision, Russia began their invasion of Ukraine.

Since then, the Biden Administration has placed a ban on all imports of oil and gas from Russia, putting an end to the 672,000 barrels we were importing DAILY.

A combination of multiple federal policies, executive orders, environmental regulations, and energy sanctions on Russia is leading us to economic disaster.

Biden’s campaign was based around a promise to wage war against fossil fuels and the middle-class Americans that work for those companies. And, unfortunately, this is one of the few promises he is keeping.

We are being led by empty-headed politicians who want government dependence over energy independence.

I need your help bringing REAL job growth back to America and putting South Dakotans back to work. Will you consider a one-time donation of $50, $100 or $250 today?

It’s time to fix the economic fractures in our country.
