Dear Fellow Patriot,
As a South Dakotan since childhood, I am extremely grateful for the life my family and I have built here.
I moved to South Dakota with my mother when the Army stationed her in Sioux Falls. After graduating from Lincoln in Sioux Falls, I attended South Dakota State University on an Air Force ROTC scholarship.
I’m glad I did because that’s where I met my husband, Mark!
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, earning my jump wings at the U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA.
After serving out of state for a few years, my husband Mark and I were both stationed at Ellsworth AFB, where I served as Squadron Section Commander of the 28th Security Police Squadron. We’ve lived in Rapid City ever since.
God, family, and country may sound cliché to some, but I have built my life around these values.
In 1994 I separated from the Air Force to raise and homeschool our two sons. I still believe that was the best career decision I ever made! One now serves as an officer in the US Navy and the other is in his third year of medical school.
As always, the seasons continue to change. I have since embarked on a journey as State Representative and have spent the last six years standing for government transparency and accountability while working to help South Dakota families thrive.
Now I want to be your Congresswoman! It’s past time we bring that same accountability to the D.C. swamp.
It is more important than ever that we work to ensure our values are safeguarded for future generations, and I will do just that in D.C.
My mission is simple: to provide government transparency, restore election integrity, find solutions to the immigration crisis, and stop irresponsible, reckless, and unconstitutional spending.
I understand the importance of protecting our family values, cutting taxes, and getting big government out of the way.
South Dakota needs a true conservative who fights for the people instead of appeasing corporate donors and Democrats. I would be honored to be that leader for you.
Will you help me bring South Dakota’s common sense to Washington, D.C.?
Choose to defend freedom TODAY by donating $100, $75 or even $50 toward my campaign for Congress!
Every dollar will help spread the word about my candidacy so that I can join forces with the handful of true conservatives in D.C. who are boldly and diligently fighting to save America.
Also, please take a few minutes and listen to my recent interview on the Greg Belfrage Show! We talked about everything from the economy to agriculture, and the biggest issues we are facing in South Dakota.
If I haven’t gotten the chance to meet you yet, I hope that you’ll tune in and listen to my interview with Greg so that you can get some of your biggest questions answered!
We can’t keep sending politicians to DC who are “go along to get along.” It’s time to send real conservatives to the fight!
Sincerely,
Rep. Taffy Howard
Candidate for U.S. Congress, South Dakota
We deserve leadership willing to stand against the establishment and safeguard our state for future generations of South Dakotans.
It’s going to take bold conservatism to rid our state and country of this corruption!
I hope to see all of you at the polls for the Primary on June 7th.
Vote Taffy Howard for Congress. Let’s drain the swamp.
